She has worked as the Executive Director and Artistic Director of Quantum Productions in Miami, FL where she produced numerous films and theatrical productions, and directed One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Little Shop of Horrors.
Catie has also worked as assistant director for Skylight Opera in Milwaukee (Marriage of Figaro), Forward Theater in Madison (In the Next Room or the vibrator play.), Chamber Theater in Milwaukee (The Sweetest Swing in Baseball), and Renaissance Theaterworks in Milwaukee, WI (The Belle of Amhurst). She was the directing intern for The Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, MN (Roman Holiday). She was selected for the SDCF Observership pool and was a member of Lincoln Center Directors Lab 2014 and Directors Lab Chicago 2013.
As an educator, Catie is the co-founder and owner of Center Stage Preforming Arts, a private voice and theater coaching company in Madison, WI. Catie works with beginning singers, both adults and teens, to help develop good vocal habits, as well as with more advanced classical singers. She also works as an acting coach, helping students of all ages prepare monologues and readings for auditions, and to obtain general acting skills.
Catie has worked with Rhapsody Arts, Monroe Theater Guild and Pius XI High School as a voice and drama teacher.
Catie holds a BA in theater and music from the University of Miami in Florida.
